How long can I check out books/DVDs/Media/Reserves?

ITEM TYPE	LOAN PERIOD	MAX ITEMS CHECKED OUT
Books	Students: 120 days + 1 renewals of 120 days Faculty and Staff: 120 days + 8 renewals of 120 days Books from Roanoke College have 1 renewal of 30 days only.	Students: 50 books + films.
BluRay, DVD, VHS & other media	7 days + 1 renewal of 7 days
Class Reserves Note: some items are in-library use only	3 hours / 24 hours / 3 days Renewal in-person Some 3-hour Reserves may be checked out overnight shortly before closing	2

Materials in some collections, such as Reference and Special Collections, do not circulate.
