How can I reserve a classroom, meeting room or study room in the library?

Below are contacts for reserving our rooms. Please place requests ahead of when you need the room; the personnel receiving your requests work Monday through Friday only.

Reservable Spaces

Classrooms

• CLE/Library classroom, first floor: Staff & Faculty only, view instructions
• #5, ground floor: Staff & Faculty only, view instructions
• Jackson Screening Room, ground floor: Make your request via the Calendar on My.Hollins, or contact Special Programming Director Chris Powell, 540-362-6225 or cpowell@hollins.edu

Reservable meeting rooms

• Goldsmith Room, 2nd floor (seats 6 comfortably) -- Reservable by faculty/staff only. To reserve the room, invite ggoldsmithroom@hollins.edu to the meeting. To see if the Goldsmith Room is available, open the “shared calendar” for the Goldsmith Room in Outlook. The calendar is available for viewing by all community members. When not reserved, the room is available to students first-come, first-serve.

Non-Reservable, first-come, first-served

• Study Rooms (located on Ground, 2nd, and 3rd floors)
  • Our study rooms are intended for use by students, faculty, staff, and official guests of Hollins University. During interim periods or times of low use, Hollins visitors may use study rooms for limited periods of time, at the discretion of library staff. Also, please note that during times of high demand for rooms, preference is given to Hollins students over HU faculty or staff.

• Available after 4:30 pm, M-F and on weekends:
  • The Green Conference Room (1st floor)
  • The Student Success Meeting Room and Testing Room (2nd floor)
